New In // ASOS Dockland Pumps

Just a quick post today, but I just had to show you guys these beauties that I bought recently!

Okay so sorry for the Asos overload on my blog at the minute, but I really can't seem to get enough of them lately! After writing my Asos Tropical Trend edit post, I couldn't help but get in on a piece of the action, so I purchased these super gorgeous slip-on skater pumps. The pattern is just so mesmerizingly pretty, and the light pastel shades are perfect for adding a pop of summer to my wardrobe. I really can't get over how gorgeous they are.

Dockland Plimsolls // Asos

These were an absolute steal at just £20, and while they definitely aren't the comfiest (hello to a layer of plasters on my ankles) they are so worth the momentary pain. Asos have loads of different colours and styles of these pumps in at the moment, and luckily they've just been restocked, so I'd say get over there quickly and add these to your basket before they are all gone again!

Are you a fan of the skater trend? Have you got a pair of the Dockland pumps, and what are your thoughts?...x

Trend Edit // Tropical @ ASOS

This summer there is one trend that almost seems to have come from nowhere, and taken over designer and high-street alike. From palm to floral prints there's so many different ways to work the look, and so I have to confess, the once cheesy 'only for fat bald men on holiday' tropical trend has well and truly won me over!

I'm a huge Asos lover, and so spending a couple of hours (minimum) browsing the New In section is a pretty regular occurrence for me. At the moment they've got some gorgeous tropical pieces in, so I've put together a little wishlist / look-book to show you all my fave items!

1) Jumpsuit     2) Co-ord     3) Trousers     4)Co-ord      5) Jumpsuit
Jumpsuits are one of my favourite items of clothing. I only actually own one- a Next beauty that I bought years ago, and it's just so timeless and classic- they really are perfect for any occasion. There's two jumpsuits from Asos that I'm really loving, the first one is a Lipsy piece. It's flirty and bright, and would be so perfect for those casual summer nights when styled with a loose-fit denim jacket and chunky sandals. My other pick was this monochrome palm print beaut. I can see myself dressing it up more- adding a statement necklace and killer heels is the vision, so it's perfect for summer night out! Plus it would go with my trusty leather jacket, how can I say no?

Co-ords have been EVERYWHERE this spring, so it was only a matter of time before summer style hit and tropical prints merged with the two-piece trend. I just couldn't make my mind up as to which was my favourite out of these two co-ords, so I just added them both! While the first one is slighty less 'my style', I have been really trying to push my boundaries and wear daring things I wouldn't usually pick, and this would be perfect for that! The second co-ord is my favourite piece out of the all five, I love the understated colours and unique print, plus it's an absolute bargain at just £32 for the set. Asos I really do love you.

Finally, I've fallen for these palm print trousers, they are just so cool! I've been after a pair of printed trousers for ages now, and I literally can't get these off my brain. There's just one problem, they are a little on the pricey side at £52 (and that's the sale price), and plus if I bought them I'd need a pair of Birkenstocks to go with them... If there's somebody growing a money tree out there.., Please give me some!

What are your thoughts on the Tropical trend? Are you loving Asos as much as me at the moment...?x

Party Perfect Wishlist

Even though I'm constantly skint at the moment, I still can't help but dream of the summer and warm nights out drinking yummy cocktails, and not forgetting a holiday in the sun. So I've decided to finally get rid of my winter tights collection- which after a bit too much wear is now full of rips and holes, and hopefully start baring my pale legs again very soon! For summer I'm loving bright colours, and the neon yellow/lime theme of this wishlist is a definite favourite of mine!

1. Crop Top // Missguided     2. Midi Skirt // Missguided     3. Earrings // New Look     4. Bag // H&M
5. Court Shoes // Asos
Missguided just seem to get better and better with every season, and at the moment they have some absolutely amazing pieces (of which I could literally take all day to list), but one of my absolute faves is this AMAZING mesh insert bodycon skirt with a lime stripe. It just screams summer party outfit, and the midi-cut is so flattering for so many shapes, it's one of my favourite styles of skirt. It's also the perfect holiday piece, I don't think I can give myself any more excuses to buy it! I also spotted this cute little crop top, again with a mesh insert, and while it goes perfectly with the skirt (complete accident by the way!) it is also a really versatile piece as it could also easily work with denim shorts like this River Island pair for a festival feel, or some high waisted printed jeans like these amazing Topshop Jonis! I've never felt really comfortable with my tummy area when it comes to wearing crop tops, but 21/2 months into my Results with Lucy programme and I'm slowly starting to look forward to wearing my bikini this summer, but that's another story, and another blog post too!

I added these lovely Gold Hoop earrings from New Look, I'm a sucker for a statement necklace, but sometimes nothing beats a pair of classic statement earrings, and I'm forever on the hunt for a new pair to add to my always expanding collection. These are simple and chic enough to wear with almost anything!

To keep the sunny theme in this outfit I added this gorgeous bargain bag from H&M, it's the perfect size for carrying all the 'essentials' in- and when I say essentials I mean an endless list of things I don't always need, but have to take out with me 'just in case'.  Finally these simple pointed court shoes from Asos are a pair I've had my eye on for ages, They are so classy and I don't think the pointed toe will every be out of fashion, so these are definitely a pair to invest in (even though they are a bargain at just £25!).

I'm itching to get my hands on this outfit, so I don't think it will be long before I just can't resist!

What's on your wishlist for summer? Are their any pieces you're absolutely loving at the moment..?x
